In 2013, a group of Chinese and American growers, designers, and engineers, dissatisfied with the options available on the market for indoor hydroponic and soil planting tents, decided to join forces to revolutionize the future of indoor gardening. Their goal was simple: to create the thickest, most powerful, and most durable indoor planting tents that can also be vertically adjusted to instantly increase much-needed planting space.
Their message was clear: "Let's create a dream design that completely redefines what it means to grow small in a tent or indoors. Let's change the meaning of a'grow tent '. Let's create a whole new indoor grow environment that is safe, smart, big, strong, tall, quiet, deodorant, concealed, insulated, durable and long-lasting." After many design modifications and patent filings, the result of their collaboration is a grow tent that cannot be compared to other tents. Some early adopters argue that it actually goes beyond the "tent" designation to more accurately compare to more traditional permanent and structured growing spaces (e.g., basements, attics, storage rooms), and is a true indoor growing room in its own right.
When they came up with a name for their new product, they decided to use Gorilla as the face of our brand because Gorilla exhibited many of the same qualities as their new product: strong, reliable, durable, and smart.
